On December 7th, Dr Rany and the WAH Foundation team took part in one of the most inspiring race routes in the world - the UNESCO World Heritage site of Angkor Wat.
This milestone wasn’t just a race. It reflected the spirit that drives WAH: courage, unity, and the belief that small steps can create big change.
Team WAH was joined by 16,000 participants from Cambodia and across the world, and partners from Kampong Chhnang Provincial Health, CHAI Cambodia, YMCA Singapore, Warner Bros. Discovery, and the Temple Garden Foundation — a collective effort powered by purpose.
They ran not only for the finish line, but for the communities of Kampong Chhnang, carrying with them stories of resilience, hope and optimism for more transformative opportunities for the underserved and vulnerable.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the Angkor Wat International event continues its mission to “run, raise funds, save lives,” supporting children’s healthcare, and the Trauma & Critical Care Centre at Angkor Hospital for Children.
A remarkable journey for a remarkable team….
