Strengthening Local Medical Care
WAH contributes to a healthier future in Kampong Chhnang by equipping local doctors, nurses, and midwives with sustainable skills and specialized surgical support.
The Trainer Network
Sustainability in healthcare only happens when knowledge stays within the community. Our Train-the-Trainer model identifies high-performing local doctors and nurses to become "CORE Trainers".
WAH provides these leaders with advanced pedagogical and clinical skills so they can, in turn, train their colleagues across the province’s health centers. This ensures that the medical community in Kampong Chhnang remains self-reliant and continues to grow its own expertise.
Maternal & Neonatal Health
Reducing infant and maternal mortality is a primary focus of our work with the Provincial Health Department. WAH supports rural midwives and pediatric nurses by providing Emergency Life Kits, specialized medical packs designed for rapid response in low-resource settings.
We don't just deliver the kits; we fund and facilitate the advanced training required to use them, ensuring that the frontline workers in Kampong Chhnang are prepared for obstetric and neonatal emergencies.
critical care traininG
Our emergency and critical care programs equip healthcare professionals with practical skills they can apply immediately. Through hands-on workshops, mentoring, and international collaboration, we help strengthen emergency care and improve patient outcomes in hospitals and health centres.
Measurable Impact
“By training and supporting healthcare workers across Kampong Chhnang, we are raising the standard of care throughout the province. Our goal is to give every community access to better healthcare, delivered by skilled local professionals.”
